The International Symposium “DRAVA RIVER VISION”, which is organized with the purpose to improve the common understanding of transboundary management of the Drava River Basin, is aimed as a meeting of nature protection, water management, hydropower and land use planning related officials, professionals and NGOs from the Drava River riparian countries, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary.

Sustainable management of transboundary river basins can be achieved also by seeking for common understanding and sharing good practices among the disciplines. Therefore, the International Symposium “Drava River Vision” is an important contribution to sustainability of the future developments in the Drava River Basin.
